Guided Silver Springs Ocklawaha Overnight Kayak Trip
- This is a bring your own boat, experienced paddlers adventure. If you are new to overnight kayak camping this is a great trip to get your feet wet. You will be able to leave your car at take out camp ground area so if you do not have room for all your gear you have an option. Overnight Kayak Trip Details
On this approximate 14 mile guided overnight kayak trip you will be paddling all day and you will get to explore the beauty of Silver Springs State Park, paddle along the glass bottom boat tour route, visit scenes from the Tarzan and Moonraker movies, enjoy lots of local wildlife sightings including manatee and monkeys. We will paddle the 4 miles down this crystal clear river to the confluence with the Ocklawaha and travel an additional 10 miles through the wilds of Florida. This is a beautiful trip full of sights and some great fishing!
Tent Camping
Once we arrive at Gores Landing those that choose to tent camp with us will enjoy a filling meal, s’mores, campfire time and a night under the stars before departing the next morning after a prepared breakfast. Cars will be shuttled to destination before launch.
Optional camping Friday night at Gores Landing can be arranged. Cost $95 per person
