This is a small group trip from Ft Myers to Key West / Dry Tortugas Jan 15-17. Visit the southern most point of the United States in historical Key West and have some fun in the sun!
We will be meeting in Ft Myers and taking the Key West Express to Key West.
Lodging will be at the Albury Court Hotel
We will be taking a day trip to explore the Dry Tortugas aboard the Yankee Freedom and touring Fort Jefferson.
There will be free time to explore the islands and take in the history and beauty of Key West.
Meals are not included.
Key west express leaves at 8:30 am from Ft Meyers Fri the 15 at noon - returning at 6 pm on the 17th to arrive in Ft Myers appx 9:30 pm.
Saturday we will take the ferry to Dry Tortugas at 7:30 am - till 5 pm. Our trip includes National Park gate fee, guided tour and lunch.
Our hotel is in the oldest part of Key West 3 blocks from ferry and 6 blocks from the famous Duval Street in small residential area. Nothing high class here but very "Old Florida". We are in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions on the island.
