What is a Santa Paddle?
Our annual Santa Paddle is a fun family event from Silver Lake to Nobelton. This year we will be paddling on Saturday December 21st - Winter solstice This is a bring your own boat event – if you do not have a boat contact: http://riverratzcafe.weebly.com/canoe-rentals.html
We will meet at the Silver Lake Launch - there are day-use fees for launching -these can now be paid via the internet at https://floridastateforests.reserveamerica.com/posProductDetails.do?id=5601&contractCode=FLFS

We are meeting at 9am and launching at appx 10am - if you want your vehicle shuttled to end please plan to arrive by 9 am to drop your boat so that everyone can arrange to be driven back to start point to launch. Appx 10 min in each direction.
Once we all arrive we will shuttle most vehicles to Nobelton Park. You are welcome to join us back at Silver Lake Campground where we will have a covered dish picnic style lunch for optional lunch after the paddle.
Dress in your favorite festive Santa hat, elf hat, reindeer antlers... you get the idea
This is about a 4 hour down river trip. You are required to wear PFD for each craft launched.
Alcohol strictly prohibited - you can have a beverage at the end during lunch 🙂
