Join us for a 2 day Guided Suwannee River Trip

Guided Suwannee River Trip June 10-12, 2022, on the most beautiful part of the river (41 Bridge to Suwannee River Music Park). Our outfitters will be ACA Canoe Outfitters in White Springs and your lead guide will be Jeanene Arrington-Fisher with Not a Clue Adventures. This is one of our favorite guided kayak trips. It is all down river and will allow you to overnight Woods Ferry River camp where you will have access to electric, showers and screened sleeping pavilions (if available). This trip is a great way to experience a multi-day trip on the river if you never have done so and a wonderful way to see the exquisite Suwannee River

Meals
(Supper and Breakfast ) will be provided and prepared. Please bring lunch for the first day and adequate snacks/drinks. Alcohol is not permitted. Please notify staff when reserving of any special diet requirements

Packing
All your gear must be able to be loaded on your canoe or kayak. Call for additional details Jeanene 813-789-0904. You will also be given a share of water to load on your boat. You will be assisted in packing your gear properly on your canoe or kayak as well.

Cost
Cost $195.00 Per person - Includes kayak/canoe rental and shuttles through American Canoe Adventures. ( $50 discount if you bring your own vessel.)

Optional Pre Trip Camping
We will have opportunity for group camping the night before for those that have to travel a distance - this cost is not included) We will be camping at Lake City Campground Friday night - check in at 2 pm (or later) https://lakecitycampground.com/map/

Launch Time
We will leave at 9 am firm to launch site on shuttles - you must be on time. Late arrivals will not be refunded.

Packing list for our Guided Suwannee River Trip:

Anything you do not want to get wet MUST be packed in a “drybag” - Including electronics. These waterproof bags and boxes are available at most retail locations including Walmart in the sporting goods section. Cell phone/ Camera in protective DRY bag or box – NOT A ZIPLOC BAG – these will leak
Headlamp or flashlight (with extra batteries)
First-aid supplies based on your personal need
Sunglasses /Sunscreen /Lip balm / Insect repellent/ Hand sanitizer
Water bottles (filled) – Enough for each day
Energy food (bars, gels, trail mix)
Beverages or powdered drinks
Sleeping bag/Sleeping pad
Snacks for on boat
Bath Towel
WATER SHOES - required
Dry shoes for around camp
Dry top/pants for camp/ Shorts or convertible pants
Swimwear/shirt for while paddling
Sun-shielding shirt (long sleeves)
Hat or cap for sun
Rain Poncho (or large garbage bag will work…)

PACKING FOR YOUR RIVER TRIP

Please pack all of your gear compactly. Items need to be tied or clipped onto kayak. All gear must fit on your boat!
