Pudgy or Pie Iron Parties are family-friendly events!
We will feature a variety of campfire confections. The cost is $15.00 - $20 per person based on menu and location. Each participant can make 1 sweet and 1 savory pie to enjoy.
We will spend an evening of family fun around the campfire and learn all about Pie Iron while we make "pudgie pies" or "hobo pies" depending on what part of the country you are from.
Many pudgy pies contain fruit fillings, meats, vegetables, sauces, cheeses, and ... Pie iron cooking is definitely one of the most fun parts of open fire cooking!
What Exactly Is a Pudgy Pie or Pie Iron?
Traditionally a "pudgy pie" "pudgie pie" "pie iron" is a hot sandwich or hot pocket made over a campfire in a pie iron. No camp site trip should be without a pie iron. These campfire delicacies are DELICIOUS, they are oh so easy to make! There is no need for a grill or tripod, just use your pie iron over the open fire to cook your meal or treat.

Special Notes:
For safety we request that you wear closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops - not safe around open fire).
All youth must be supervised at all times.
We will be outdoors so having sunblock and bug spray is suggested.
If you or those attending with you have any food allergies, please contact Jeanene at 813-789-0904 so that we can have options, if possible, for you.
If we have to cancel due to poor weather, event will be rescheduled.
